A great location on the Mexican Caribbean Coast of the Mayan Riviera. Villa Encantada, "Enchantment", is a fabulous four bedroom, four bath beachfront luxury villa in the exclusively residential area of Jade Beach, 60 miles south of Cancun. This location offers seclusion with no neighboring homes, yet is still only a short walk down the white sand beach to the restaurants, dive facilities, shops, health club and kids club of charming Akumal.

Arranged on three levels amid a lush tropical landscape, the villa sits directly on its own palm fringed Caribbean beach. This architect designed home, owned by a renowned painter and sculptor. The focus of the villa is a four level circular tower, penetrated through its center by a shaft of light.

Upon arrival, stroll through a tropical paradise of palms and flowers. Open a romantic hand forged iron entrance gate. A circular dining room, steps down into an elegant sunken living room with 11 foot ceilings. Floor to ceiling glass doors look out to the swimming pool, palms and the turquoise sea beyond. Furnishings are of exquisite hand carved woods from Indonesia, China, Mexico & Africa and are complemented by sumptuous fabrics. The fully equipped kitchen opens out to a terrace. It features marble counters, custom cabinetry with hand cast pewter hardware and has both indoor and outdoor bars. The bedroom on this level has glass doors to its own terrace and a full bath with a curving sculptural marble shower, all opening to the beach views.

The upper level has luxurious master bedroom suite with a large private terrace and breathtaking views of the sea and the garden. The spacious master bath includes expansive marble counters with double sinks, and 5' round shower with glass doors opening to the ocean view and breeze. The second bedroom on this level also opens to its own terrace through glass doors and offers a spectacular ocean view. Its adjoining private marble bathroom also has views from its matching 5' round shower. A circular library connects these two bedrooms to the roof terrace above.

The lower level contains the fourth bedroom, with full bath, a playroom with TV & VCR, and a laundry. The bedroom has two twin beds which can be combined to make a king. Although there are no sea views from this level, this is the perfect place for teenagers and children to have their own space.

The house is topped off by a circular rooftop terrace with a spectacular 360 degree view of the jungle and ocean. A great place for entertaining or watching sunsets under the graceful palapa roof or just sit around the incredible swimming pool.
