Enjoy this amazing tour in which you will explore the wetlands inside the biosphere reserve, go bird watching around the beautiful bird nesting-island, and quitly paddle past ancient mayan ruins.

You can have a single or double kayak accompanied by our expert guides.
If you have never kayaked before we include free basic training to enable you to fully enjoy the experience.

The tour is available during the morning or afternoon, depending on which route you take and the length of the route. The tour includes lunch or dinner at the restaurant in in the Ecological Center.

Tour by yourself:

This option allows you to visit parts of the wetlands that the Mayan people used as trading routes in the past. Our guides will give you the information you need on which routes to take and the directions.
This option is excellent for experienced kayakers however we can provide basic kayak training, at additional cost, for beginners.
