You'll participate in interactive classroom discussions and confined water sessions (including basic fish id) by experienced teachers and guides. Upon completion you are ready for snorkeling with added confidence and safety anywhere in the world.

This is a fun course in snorkeling techniques for beginners and experienced snorkelers that prepare you for exploring the wonders of the underwater world.

Bring your own equipment or you can rent it. You may purchase this equipment at our shop during the class and save 10% off your package.

Cenote Snorkeling!

You can see what is inside a cenote cavern by snorkeling. We runs a guided snorkeling trip through hree different cenotes.

Night Snorkeling!

Night snorkeling is an activity that can be practiced by all members of the family. All it takes is the basic snorkel gear and a flashlight. Akumal bay is the perfect setting to do a night snorkel tour. It's sheltered shallow and waters make it a delightful and safe experience.

By night you get a chance to observe life that just doesn't come out by daylight time; like the elusive octopus that mostly hunts in dark like conditions. It's really mesmerizing to watch it on the prowl, how it pokes and probes its way through the reef. You can see how the octopus changes color as it feels its way around and mimics the surrounding.

The coral seems much more alive, colorful and softer during nighttime. This is because at night is when they feed; and they do so by extending their polyps to catch the plankton. By watching them under our light, we restore the natural colors that are not even visible during daytime!

Another interesting thing to observe while night snorkeling is the way micro marine life glows when excited. Stirring the water in front of you can create this luminescence, and then enjoy watching these greenish sparks.
