Fishing in Akumal

We offer a 3 hour deep sea fishing trip, maximun 4 people, Troll along the Caribbean coast in our canopied panga among Sailfish, Dorado, Mackerel, King Fish, Barracuda, Yellow Fin Tuna, Marlin, and many others. Master Fisherman and his assistant will clean your catch and any of the local restaurants will be happy to prepare it for you. April through July are the best fishing months, guaranteeing great catches!

Rate for the boat is: $150. Extra hour: $55 each.

Experience counts for everything in life, and fishing is not exeption.

The captain and his experienced crew begin each trip with a briefing and take the boat out of the Puerto Aventuras marina.

Once the boat is out of the marina, we put the lines in the water. When a fish bites, you can do as much or as little as you want. The very experienced crew is here to help you.

When you are done, the crew can make filets and pack your fish to take home.

Half Day Trips:

Morning (9:00am to 1:00pm)

Afternoon (1:30pm to 5:00pm)

Full day Fishing Trips: 9:00am to 5:00pm

Fishing from a Sail boat

Catamaran 36'

Sail & deep sea in the way to a (45 - 60 minutes aprox) private, secluded beach.. Snorkel in the pristine coral reefs, hike around the beaches, play or sunbathe.

We lift anchors and motor out of Akumal Bay around 9:30 AM. Once out of the bay we pull the sails out and sail up to Chemuyil Bay some 5 miles south of Akumal, it takes us between 45 minutes to an hour for the crossing. As we are sailing we drop two fishing lines to try our luck. Usually we catch a fish or two, which will be serving for lunch.....
