Taking place in the afternoon, the highlight of the trip is gently coasting along an isolated mangrove island which is nesting ground of numerous tropical birds. ![]() ![]() ![]() Schedule: 14:00 Stop at the entrance of the Reserve of Sian Ka’an where the guide will explain the objectives of the reserve and important facts about the existing flora, fauna and ecosystems. Swim in a magnificent secluded cenote. Leave the cenote. 14:30 After a small tour of our center and preparations for the tour, enjoy the view from our roof where there will be a brief introduction about the journey. ![]() ![]() ![]() 15:00 Get into a 23’ open-air boat with outboard motor. See diverse ecosystems, plants and birds in the lagoons of Caapechen, Boca Paila and San Miguel. Visit a sea inlet and San Miguel Bird Island, a nesting ground for tropical birds while watching the sunset over the mangrove and lagoon. 18:00 Return to the boat landing and center Ecological CESIAK for a sit-down dinner at the restaurant. 19:30 Transportation back to Tulum town. Rate: US$77.00 per person US$66 per child (From 6 to 10 years old). What To Bring: Sandals, wet shoes or tenis shoes, Take a sweater or light jacket, light cotton clothing with long sleeves, bathing, suit, biodigradable mosquito repelent, sun block lotion, towel, Sunglas, camara, hat or cap, Purified bottle of water, we recomend binoculars. Rules: Do not leave any trash, Do not remove anything from the Reserve (shells, coral, leaves), everything plays a part in the survival of the ecosystem. Do not feed the fish or any other animal. |
