Ek Balam (Black Jaguar)

The exclusive city of Ek Balam lord was built century and a half ago, the entrance of the main temple is an invitating cavernous jaguar jowel, adorned by sophisticated angel-sculptures, making it an unique archaeological site in the entire mayan world.

X’CanChe Eco-Park:

Bike trails in the jungle lead to an open natural well; it’s depth is unknown, heading to the hearth of underground water systems of the Yucatan Peninsula. To get there and snorkel, you can either descend 18 mts. Rappelling or take the stairs that will take you into the under mayan worlds, it’s myths and the history of earth creation.

Punta Laguna Reserve:

5367 hectares of natural reserve is maintained by the local people. Spent time with them and the inhabitants of the lagoon and its jungle; spider and howler monkeys, birds and all the wildlife of this sanctuary. Enjoy walking and canoeing while you learn about medicinal plants, endemic animals and the secrets of the Mayan culture.
